Discussion about the recent terrorist attacks took place during the plenary of the European Parliament in Strasbourg earlier this week. In this the Golden Dawn’s MEP, Lampros Fountoulis made an intervention and he talked about what for many years our Movement tells, but just now the Europeans begin to realize. Terrorism in Europe the last years has a name. The fanatical Muslims are those who bloodshed Europe’s cities and killed in the name of Allah. Moreover, taking advantage of clandestine migration, they move freely now between training camps in Asia and Africa and European cities. Finally, he pointed something very simple and basic but deliberately ignores the supposedly progressive. Nobody can live in Europe if first -as a minimum requirement- do not share European values and principles.
Following is the full text of the intervention:
“Ladies and gentlemen.
Once again we held a minute’s silence in memory of the victims of the recent terrorist attack in Brussels. The president told us that we will not forget the victims. Unfortunately we will forget and we will refer to them if a new terrorist attack takes place. The only people who will not forget are the relatives and friends of the victims. President Schultz pointed that we must not let the fear become hatred. I do not know if it will become hate but it will become rage for sure. Rage against us, because with wishful thinking we are trying to shield and protect life in Europe. The enemy is known. It is these people that in the name of god remove innocent lives. It is the action of the Islamic caliphate and fanatical Muslims around the world. There was terrorism before the appearance of the caliphate and it will exist after its elimination as far as there are fanatics. Terrorists use the migration and they can move unchecked between European countries and training camps. It is the incompatibility of most forms of Islam with the European values that will always lead to extreme confrontations. We must address the root of the problem. Anyone who lives or wants to live in Europe should first embrace European values and principles. Not our own obsessions, but these of the European citizens. Otherwise the result will always be tragic. ”
