The International Business Times reported that the meeting is taking Trump seriously, placing a promised “progress report” on his administration as the first item on their agenda.

The press release for this year’s meeting described the conference takes place under what it called the “Chatham House Rule,” where participants are free to use the information received, but neither the identity nor the affiliation of the speakers nor any other participant may be revealed.
Stringent security and privacy policies surrounding the conference has provoked speculation over the decades since the meeting’s founding in 1954. The meeting includes prominent figures from North America and Europe. According to the Bilderberg press release, no minutes are taken and no report is written on the meeting. The statement added that no resolutions are proposed, no votes are taken, and no policy statements are issued during the conference.
