SAN BENEDETTO – Exasperated because Moroccan tenants did not pay their rent a landlord decided to demolish the wall of his apartment with a bulldozer in order to send them away. And in the end the judge acquitted him! The public prosecutor accused of Ascoli Antonio Campanelli, sambenedettese of 77 years for serious crimes ranging from the exercise of arbitrary own reasons, to aggravated breaking and entering, theft, and aggravated serious threat.
Defended by his lawyer Umberto Gramenzi, the defendant Antonio Campanelli, 77 years, was acquitted of the offenses of which he was accused. The senior had leased his apartment to a Moroccan family consisting of a husband and wife, daughter and grandson. He had not paid the rent in a long period and so the owner asked them to leave the house within a certain time frame.
After the deadline, however, nothing had changed this was in August 2009, Antonio Campanelli, exasperated, resorted to harsh measures. Having hired a bulldozer, together with other unidentified persons, he broke down the wall of his house that he had rented to the Moroccan family whose members were then forced to leave. Better to damage the property in order and send away the delinquent tenants!
