The carabinieri arrested a Senegalese completely drunk from “Bricoman”.
In the middle of the afternoon, the Carabinieri of the Nucleo mobile of the Compagnia di Cagliari intervened in the parking lots of “Bricoman”, in Elmas, where a 73-year-old from Cagliari had just been violently attacked in the face with fists by a Senegalese of 21 years who beat him after trying to rob him.
Immediate intervention by the carabinieri who, following the victim’s instructions, entered the business immediately where, in the throes of an evident state of psychophysical alteration, the young peddler was rummaging through the shelves of the electrical department illicitly taking possession of varied material. Approached by the soldiers who requested him to show personal documents, the non-EU citizen reacted with threats and insults, refusing any kind of control. Considering the number of customers including many minors in the store, the military tried to calm the young man in an evident state of drunkenness, considering the risk that he could suddenly cause serious damage by seizing tools placed on the shelves.
Conducted at the command offices, the foreigner was declared in a state of arrest for the crimes of attempted robbery, resistance and threat to PU, damage and failure to comply with the extent of the dwelling obligation to which he was subjected.
